Request a TMP

Send through the details below. The more complete this is, the faster we can scope the job, get it in front of council or Waka Kotahi, and get a plan moving.

Before you start

Have these ready

  • Site address, plans, or a marked-up Google Maps sketch
  • A plain-English description of the work, including any stages
  • A date window to work within, not just the days you need
  • Contact details for the Principal/Client, Bill Payer, Contractor, and TTM Contractor
Typical timeframes

Build these into your schedule

  • TMP design10 working days
  • Generic TMP approval15 working days
  • Site-specific TMP approval5–15 working days
  • State Highway work30 working days
  • Road closure4 weeks
  • Date change, no design change5 working days

A wider date window costs nothing to request and saves you paying for a date extension later.

Plans and site info

Email these separately to consult@roadcone.nz — it speeds up the design. Mention your name and site address so we can match it to this request:
  • Site plans, design plans, or construction plans
  • A Google Maps overview of the work area — a hand-drawn sketch on it is fine
  • If this connects to the Wellington Water network, a copy of the Wellington Water Connection Approval email

Prefer to talk it through first? Call +64 27 702 4692 or email consult@roadcone.nz.

That didn't send. Call +64 27 702 4692 or email consult@roadcone.nz directly and we'll take the details that way instead.

This sends us what we need to scope and design the plan. The formal Corridor Access Request is a separate process — Roadcone will prepare that for you once the job is scoped.

Thanks — that's with us now. Michael will be in touch to confirm scope and timing before any work starts on the plan. If it's urgent, call +64 27 702 4692.
